Upon further inspection the plywood in the center of the nose is buckled. The sides appear fine. Looks like the floor is damaged at least under the bed. Shop estimated 3-5 k to repair both. I paid 6k for it so not sure if it is worth repairing. The inside looks almost brand new and everything works now that I had the converter replaced.
 
Keep the moisture out and just use it. It may have failed due to condensation. If it is stationary there will be no wind load on that nose.

We do have to haul it 7 hours to where she will be living.
