Pre Covid I would expect 30% off MSRP as a starting point and work in some free stuff and possibly lower price. Prices on all RV took a huge jump to where we are now and some RV dealers were selling at MSRP and I've seen a few that were selling more than MSRP. I bought used from a fairly large dealer and got call from the salesman offering me 30,000 more than I paid for 3 years prior. MSRP grew during Covid and only time will tell what the results are going to be on used RVs.
If you are happy with what you paid and happy with the RV that is a great deal.

Do you know why people upgrading up are doing private sales. I guess that trade in value is probably less than $50,000. I alway try to sell private party and I can give the private seller a good deal and come out better then I would trading it in. In my state you have to pay sale tax on the difference between the trade in and new RV so I have account for 9.5% tax in the price. That's good for both parties the buyer get for less than he could buy it from dealer and the seller gets more than trade in value so it's win win.
