What math? A strawman fallacy would be that if prices drop within a year it will only occur as the post hoc consequence of an arrangement for this gov't to control the means of production of oil in Venezuela. Otherwise, if private investors are willing to gamble $100,000,000,000 on long term stability in the region it would be 3-5 years before production over there contributes anything signifant to the strategic petroleum reserve over here.I stand by the math. Marked in time with Diesel averaging $5.29 gallon on 8/30/2026 -- will see if I am right that within a year prices have dropped.
You have the simple part right. You kind of proved my point. This deal affects the global market and resets control, pricing, negotiation, and values of the east oil routes and supply.
I know it’s a lot to understand, and I cannot do it for you.
So I kept it simple and said because of this deal, oil prices will drop to a point that we all will feel it at the pump.
Crossing the line of politics friends...refrain please!
Tell that to your moderator there. Economic reality is apolitical. Grinding an axe with thinly disguised political opinion on the contrary is.
