I keep a bottle of allerclear on hand. I have seen dogs recover fully by feeding several tablets to them.

As also posted earlier pine sol repels snakes. Not a bad idea around the RV entrance for your safety.

Oh! Snakes like rodents, this is a double whammy. When rodents are a problem, Snakes can be your friend. However we know that can be somewhat dangerous, so do the bucket traps and destroy the bounty.
 
Anyone who is on Facebook should join the National Snakebite Support group (they help people and pets - there's another one that I can't recommend with the word "Veterinary" in the name but that's different).

It is run by snakebite experts who are doctors or vets and is the best place to learn about proper treatment. Many vets don't know proper care for a snakebite so it's important to be prepared to advocate for your pup.
