Dolly towing a front wheel drive A4

Does anyone know whether or not you can tow an Audi A4 with front wheel drive only on a tow dolly. I have chance to pick up a really nice used 2018 A4 and I am having a hard time getting a straight answer from the local dealer.

Does anyone know whether or not you can tow an Audi A4 with front wheel drive only on a tow dolly. I have chance to pick up a really nice used 2018 A4 and I am having a hard time getting a straight answer from the local dealer.

We know someone towing a front wheel drive Nissan Leaf on a tow dolly. He’s a mechanics type guy. His way of determining wether it could be done was to jack the rear of the car up and see if the wheels spun freely. They did. If the Audi is the same it’s essentially like two donuts spinning on the back of the car.
