Door handles

Has anyone ever replaced their bedroom or bathroom door handles? I have a 2025 Sunset Trails we just got it a few days ago and I apparently failed to shut a door all the way and it got caught on the slide. Thankfully the door itself didn't break, nor did the hinges. But the handle broke off. I have read online that I can't just run to lowes and get a new handle can someone tell me if this is accurate?

Depends on the thickness of the door. If it’s the standard 1 3/8” hollow core door any residential knob set should work. Take the plunger with you, if you can match the plate ( sq. or radius edge) it will save you some wood chisel work. Worst case, you can likely find a match @ etrailer.
