Typically we travel with the water heater turned off, water pump off and Propane turned off when traveling. We try to keep electrical drains to a minimum to allow batteries to charge to 100% for arrival.
We do have a residential refrigerator which is on for the entire trip. When traveling most navigation items and electronics are on or charging.
how does fridge work underway do you run generator ?

We have a residential 'fridge. It runs off the inverter while we travel or in the summer when it's hot we usually run the generator so we can use the house A/C units. Even without any electricity if you'll keep the 'fridge door closed it will stay cool in there for 8-12 hours. Usually longer than you'll be travelling for the day.

My Norcold RV 'fridge went out and the replacement was $3600. I said NOPE! Bought a stainless steel french door bottom freezer Samsung for $600 from Lowe's from the scratch and dent section. The dent is hidden behind the cabinet.

The ability of being able to run a residential fridge on an inverter has a few factors. People smarter than me can give specific details but some factors will probably include inverter size/rating, battery configuration and how your coach is wired.
Yes, a residential fridge is a very nice feature in an RV.

Thank you for sharing and at least i know now if something goes with mine. Obviously just need one that fits haha. Just curious how many watts is you inverter
