Driving home an RV purchased in another state.

Talk to your home state DOT. You will need the vin# and exact miles, also the purchase price. Ask the current owner for a copy of both sides of the title. They may issue you a temp. tag so you can drive it home. I have driven a lot of cars with out tags just to transport them and have never been bothered. You are far better off to just do it then beg for forgiveness. Cops are way to busy to bother with you.

I just drove mine home from Florida to Wisconsin at the end of June and was not bothered at all.
