Dumping air for slides

I've found no where in my owners manual that says anything about dumping air.

It does say to put the slides out in travel height mode.

New to Monaco. Confused-when you park you pretty much need to be level when slide outs go out-I’m guessing. Then dump and level? What if area is not level-how do you put slide-out out? Do you all level somewhat with lumber and then finish when slides are out?
