We are thinking of going to a state park in northern Indiana Im shure the park water is off but any tips to keep the toilet holding tank safe, can we simply flush with rv antifreeze? I am not planning on using the water in the trailer, we will be able to come home for showers, just want to have a hang out during the day. Mid March till end of April.

Be sure you black water is clean and flushed. Every time you go home bring back about 10 gallons of water and don’t drain until it’s full. Always drain the black water first then the gray water. Don’t use any chemicals just water. The chemicals will start deccomeposing everything and you be trying to flush peanut butter in cold weather . YouTube has videos about how to properly maintain you black water tank.
