Wife and I were looking at the finances and early retirement looks quite feasible, at least on paper. Although we have been good at investing (saving and not spending) we are a little handicapped regarding healthcare, living income, etc. outside of our respective employers' offerings. I've been looking for retirement coaches (consultants) that are not trying to sell something (annuities, lerps, etc.) but they are a lot more scarce that one would expect (maybe I don't understand the industry). Still have a few years before Medicare and wife is a little behind me. We are ready to throw in the corporate towel and nomad a bit while still young enough to enjoy it. Trying to find someone to help me wade through Veterans benefits too. Spent too much of life staring at the grindstone and not watching for the milestone. Spent my life with buildings and machines, this finance stuff gives me a headache.
