Hi i am regretting the deal i made with the consignment dealer on my TT. Can i pick it up and pay them for what they've spent on it? I have the title but did sign a 180 day contract with them.

You might want to read the contract very close. There may be a clause that prohibits you selling it to someone "tomorrow" and they could say the person heard or saw the unit from their promotions. There might be a time limit clause like 30 days for example that protects them. Are you no ,longer selling or just wanting to sell on your own?

I want to sell on my own and can wait the 180 days before i do so. I am essentially wondering if its illegal to go to the dealer and get it. Just feel very violated by their way of handling it. I know they could possibly sue for breach of contract, but I have already offered to reimburse their expenses.

Most of the brokerage contracts I have seen have out clauses. Some are time and others may list some other reasons. It's still your unit and as long as you hold the title, they can't do anything anyway. I guess the way they handle it would get weighed out if you need a dealer in the future or they want to keep a customer happy. Generally no one deal is worth a bad reputation.

I was able to get speak with management and they are allowing an early termination. So relieved. Be careful and read things before you sign them. Lesson learned
