I've seen some very beautiful RV lots in California. I mean, drop dead gorgeous places that rival the nicest homes. And I'm seeing these beautiful places for sale a lot more than I remember seeing them in the past.

So some of you who own these places, what are your plans for when Calif no longer allows you (or anyone else) to drive a diesel motorhome in the state?

Good question. We owned one in Palm Springs for many years. There were a few that were motorhome only although ours also had a lot of fifth wheels.

Jim just think what your place in florida will be worth after RV people leave California for Florida. Maybe a good time to invest in Florida lots.

I think that functionally that problem is decades away. For a lot of reasons, current news items notwithstanding…

Perhaps. But if I were about to drop $500K on an RV lot, I’d be keenly aware of the potential for the property to decrease in value rather than increase. That’s precisely why those who invest in these types of properties tread carefully.

I'm not sure California can stop us from driving through. Last time I looked at my watch this is still America. They certainly can't stop you from using the interstate highways and freeways.

Intended for the OP. Sorry..

They stopped me several years ago with their exorbitant fuel taxes, dangerously low speed limits, and extreme cost of almost everything else.
