I have a electrical hitch wire, a backup camera, a solar panel wire and the rv wire all going to the positive and negative battery terminals. Can I splice all the positive and negative wires together and have one positive and negative battery connection?

Yes you can but I wouldn't recommend it, attach a small bus bar.

If I use a bus bar, would I have to use a heavier gage wire to battery? Distance between bus bar and battery terminal would be about a foot.
I would, yes.
