Seems that this year the Campgrounds are sending out more promotions than in past years. So far I've not run across any limits on availability of camp sites due to capacity. Some times due to my choice of campgrounds there is limited availability due to size of RV, 44'.
Is there more open camping spots this year vs prior year? Seems to me that there is more campground availability.

I’ve seen the same.

Our annual park in FL was not full this past winter.

Even the small one we are at in Ohio currently was not full for July 4th weekend - six empty spots over a holiday is unheard of here.

We’re a Lake Texoma St. Park in OK and it looks like winter here. Ordinarily this place is at capacity in the summer. Catfish Bay campground which is part of the park is entirely closed off while they recover from recent flooding, so you’d think this side would be at capacity.

Our annual FL resort was not full last year, I had a hard time finding a decent site online for this coming winter, finally had to call them and yep only 6 spots left, this resort is huge, shocked, glad the sites are spaced out nicely

I get them too and no, I didn't subscribe or opt-in.

Your data was sold to them for a fraction of a penny. I made the mistake of making a political contribution 20 years ago, now some guy running for postmaster in Podunk Junction, 2000 miles away is sending me email promising if I send him $25.00 he’s going to fix America. There’s no way to unsubscribe from the data bank of schmucks, like hotel California, you can check in but you can never leave.

I think I get an email every other day advertising some RV Resort discount! Good luck using the unsubscribe link.

We did a 3 week trip in May/June through southern BC wine country to the dinosaur museum in Drumheller AB and returned to Birch Bay through Banff & Jasper national parks. The only place that was full was Dinosaur Provincial park, otherwise, we didn't reserve anywhere including our stay at Banff and Jasper national parks. Our second 3 week trip, June/July to eastern WA, and back to Birch Bay, no reservations required. There were a lot of empty spots observed during our travels.
