I have a 2012 keystone energy 236lfswe. The carbon monoxide detector started chirping the alarm for replacement the other night. I removed it in a sleepy frenzy and touched some wires together and had a spark. The light above the bathroom sink which was on went out and now the other two bedroom lights don't work. My questions are is there a good replacement 12v dual power source carbon monoxide detector for the discounted costar? And, is it normal for that alarm to be tied into a light circuit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
