Five minutes into my departure yesterday I encountered the dreaded “check engine light”. Lucky for me RV Services is right next door to the RV storage facility so I drove over to see if they could find the issue. When they hooked up the analyzer to the coach there were “18” fault codes. I was told by the technician they were mostly related to electrical and DEF but nothing to keep me from taking the trip. He quickly cleared all the codes and I was on my way.
My question is … are the codes accumulative? When registered do they just keep adding until one triggers a check engine light? Do they ever go away or do they have to be reset by a technician?
I haven’t had time to look at all the codes but after 450 miles yesterday everything is fine. Thanks
