My wife has developed arthritis in her hands & has lost most of the strength in them. When I adjusted the entry door so it wouldn't rattle while driving she could not open the door from the outside. I had a sheet metal shop form a SS handle extension to give you more leverage on the latch. It works perfectly if anyone has an intrest in this send me ur info & ill send u some pics.
