We are the proud owners of a brand new 2026 Europa KD32.
We were getting ready for our maiden voyage last month when the living room slide out would not go all the way in. Then couldn't move at all. Turns out the motor was not installed right.
So, now, we are going to try again next week. Our concern is if it happens again while we are camping, how do we get it back in?
Dealership/repair shop we bought from, did not know other than a mobile repair, but as we are planning our trips around the states, we are concerned of it happening again. Mobile repair not always available .
Has anyone experienced this or any advice?

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new RV!
I would suggest reading through your manuals for both the slide reset and emergency or manual retractions processes. While I don't have your specific unit, most will have a way to reset the controllers in the case the slides do not perform fully, i.e go part way in or part way out.

In the event the slides quit completely, there is most likely a way to disconnect the motors and manually push the slides into position, then reconnect motors to keep it in. These procedures are specific to the type of slide you have so give your manuals a good look through.

Welcome to RVforums from Ely, Iowa.
As JBright mentioned, usually there is a way to disconnect and manually push the slide in or there is a manual method for closing the slide. One thing I would add. If you disconnect the motor make sure you use your slide bars to prevent the slide from moving out as you travel.
