Problem Everchill refrigerator

Issues with Everchill refrigerator in 2025 Viper 29 since we bought it. It keeps freezing up and we have to defrost it to continue to get freezer under 20 and refrigerator under 50. Help!!!! Setting on freezer 1. Setting on refrigerator 3. So annoyed with it.

The never chills are notorious. It should be under warranty so maybe a call to your dealer or straight to the mfg. You may get it replaced.

We had that issue last fall when we spent a month on the Texas coast, and I'm sure it was a combination of heat and very high humidity along the coast making things so much worse. So after researching things a bit I ordered a battery operated fan and rechargeable batteries to try this year. We haven't camped with the fan yet, but I'm hoping it will help circulate air and prevent the freeze over.

My boat came with a fridge that went into hyperdrive then burned out the P C board in it. I replaced it with another brand, and their customer guy said they added a small Dc fan on the fridge's rear 9coils) to improve the unit. This one, a NORCOLD as been in 22 years now with out a problem. If the fridge is powered either AC or DC fan runs. It says 1120 Ma current at 12 V on the fan, as it looks like one used in computers. I would suggest adding one if it don't have one. Buy one with ball bearings. Quieter and lasts a lot longer.
