Here in the Richmond, VA area we are now in peak fall colors at Nov 10. I realize fall colors seem to roll from west to east but this seems later than normal, or is it? When do fall colors peak where you are or where you've observed in your travels? I ask this as I typically try to take the RV for a trip during fall colors. One year I went to Mountain Falls RV Resort in NC, didn't time that well. This year way too early for end of Oct trip out west (the trip from hell). I think in the future I'm going to time this for the first two weeks in Nov instead of an Oct trip.

I usually try to stick to the west. Primarily Colorado for fall colors and they typically peak in last week of September to the 2nd week of October. This year they had a big snowfall late September so it paused everything for a couple of weeks

Seems like it used to be in October, right?
