Fantastic fan cover

Was up washing the roof on our new 22 cornerstone (leftover) and over top of the kitchen fan is the typical cover but it's clear and on both ends are these white clips that look like something went there. This coach had been cannibalized of a few items when we made the inspection ride to Atlanta a month before we bought it and I want to make sure we are not missing something as the other fans have the smoked covers that go up when you turn the fan on.

The label say Maxxfan. I suspect that it used to have a maxxair cover (which would be smoked or opaque). I believe the white "clips" on the top and bottom would be where that secured.
