What do you all carry for outdoor fires? I’d prefer a pellet fire pit because if I’m lighting fire, I’m probably doing it for outdoor heat and the ambiance is just icing on the cake. I find that propane fire pits don’t put out much heat but in areas where there are fire bans, they are usually the only option for an outdoor fire. I don’t want to carry propane unless I need to as it serves no other purpose on an all electric rig.

Ideally, I’d like a pellet fire pit that can easily convert to propane for when I’m in an area with an active fire ban.

I bought and really like the Outland Firebowl with Auto Ignition. I also have the case for it so I can store it in any orientation and not get stuff in my basement.

It's just hassle free, stores easily in the basement, and works great - lots of heat! I used to carry a smaller 11lb propane bottle just for cooking, now I carry a full size bottle for the fire pit and cooking.
