Went from Polk County Florida up to Robertsdale AL yesterday (535 miles). This was the first run with the fiver fully loaded. The Ford 6.7 did great and we averaged a perfect 9mpg for the day, which is almost 40% better mileage than my Newmar DP with the 400 Cummins ever did. I suspect once this engine breaks in I should see 10 and 11mpg towing on a regular basis.

Never got a chance to run across the scales yesterday. I stopped for fuel twice but just didn't want to take the time on such a long day.
