Hi all -
I recently purchased a new (old stock) 2023 Airstream Globetrotter 27' . This was a something I had wanted for years, but never managed to pull the trigger. Super happy with my purchase, and extremely eager to go on my first trip with it. While this is my first travel trailer, I am no stranger to towing. I run a landscape construction business and am always towing a dump trailer or peripheral. Bringing this silver bullet home was easy and otherwise problem free.

I'm hoping this new Airstream will get me out of the office a bit more. Recently i've been married to my work, and while I love it... I need a change of scenery every once in a while. RVing will consist primarily of me and the dog (Alaskan Malamute). My plan is to begin a series of 'mini-trips' to get a feel for the trailer in various situations and introduce myself to RV/camping.

So far the one thing that has me a bit cross eyed is the myriad of website, memberships, signups, etc that i've been blasted with when trying to search for a camp site.
When I look at California camp sites - for example, I get Reserve California, GoodSam, Hipcamp, recreation.gov, camp-california, etc... Is there a site that incorporates all these into one? Like an Expedia of sorts?

Also - any good recommendations for a first trip? I'm based in San Diego and would like to try something in the CA/NV/AZ area to break in my first voyage with this setup. It would be a quick 2-3 day trip.

Thanks! J

Congrats!
I’m not aware of an aggregator site like that but maybe this will help;
Reserve California: Strictly CA State Parks
Recreation.Gov: Federal lands (the best!) such as USFS, National Parks, monuments etc.
Good Sam: RV parks that offer Good Sam discounts and are typically full hook up, laundry and other amenities. The least “camping” kind of camping you can do.
Hip Camp: Private landowners who have places you can camp, from a tent site to full hook ups. Often Google/Apple maps will show many more by searching an area you’re interested in.
