Wanted to see if anyone has a good way to secure fishing poles so they don’t break. I was thinking about getting a PVC tube and sliding them up to the reel and then securing the reel so it doesn’t come out until I’m ready to use them.

I use command strip pole holders in my closet for 3 of my rods. I know some use PVC in the basement.

I am planning on making a padded hanging rack on the ceiling of the pass through storage area, and secure with mini bungee cords.
