Hello,

I found a Rockwood freedom 1940ltd 2003 in decent shape overall besides the pop-up not working. Apparently the springs "fell out" while popping it up. I haven't seen it in person but I'm wondering if anyone could speak to how difficult this is to fix?

What parts and skills I would need to do so? I'm pretty handy, and the price of this is worth some extra effort. Thanks for your advice!

Yay or nay!? Please see attached.

Actually, that is one of the ways to get a pop top closed when the system fails and the work week is around the corner! Just force it down and go!

Rusted tubing or spring could be the problem. The tubing is thin wall so a conduit bender can be used to fabricate new tubes.
Someone with a spring making jig can fabricate replacement springs.

Is it worth it! You know your tolerance for such a job.
