I have the Roadmaster POSITIVE terminal cutoff switch. I'm unsure of the exact process to prepare for flat tow. Closest I got was, I got the transfer case in Neutral, placed shifter in Park, and shut engine off.
The time I got it to work, I sat in the truck until I heard the electronic sound it makes when it turns off. I don't know the amount of time, this is the one factor I need to know to perform the exact process. When I did the above it did seem to complete shutdown. The running boards did not come out when I opened the door to exit. Does ANYONE know the exact process, how long is the wait step after the transfer case is in Neutral and shifter in Park and engine off ??? How long do you wait to hit cutoff switch button? Thank you in advance.
