I have a question about trailer braking when pulling a trailer behind my Discovery. I have a 2003 Fleetwood Discovery (all freightliner) , I see that there is no brake controller installed. Does anyone have experience with which one to buy and install? I see there is a bluetooth that is controlled thru your phone.

In my other vehicles I use a Tekonsha 90195 P3 Electronic Brake Controller and have been happy with it. I am not familiar with the Blue Tooth ones.
Under the dashboard somewhere near the steering column I believe there is a pigtail connector for a controller. Mine is labeled with a white tag as "Trailer Connector".

hello. I’ve used a curt brake controller in the past and they’re pretty reliable unless you phone battery dies. I gave one away and kept one just in case. They’re about $270 at a Chevy dealership In parts
