New here and a new RV owner. I am trying to set my air conditioner, RVP 9000 series (upon recommendation) to 105 degrees for the summer when temperatures are over 100 degrees outside which makes it really hot inside the RV. We have 2 zones and I can only get it to 90. Any suggestions?
Thank you so much. I am actually trying to set the air at 105 so that when it gets hotter inside it would cool it to that degrees. I'm not trying to cool it any less until were using it and that doesnt seem to be a problem.
In my limited knowledge, most thermostats cannot be set that high.
Only ideas I have:
1) If your thermostat has an “offset” function to allow to to calibrate it, might be able to trick it into your highest setting actually being a higher temp
2) Replace with a different thermostat
3) Just live with 90f
