Winterizing our new to us 2018 Newmar Ventana LE 4048.

Has the Flojet 03526144 water pump.

While outside with the water bay door open I could hear the typically loud pump running while getting up to pressure.

Once shut-off pressure was achieved, the loud pump noise would quit.
But I could still hear a quieter motor running sound coming from the pump and I could feel the pump vibrating.

I thought the pump should be completely off.

Is this normal operation?

If not, any ideas +/or suggestions?

Thank You,
Cory

SO,

If the pump runs...builds pressure and then stops and starts in a pulsing fashion...could be a water leak.

If the pump never cuts off...either a big leak or your pressure switch is bad. If you can search for parts...they do usually make repair parts for things like the pressure switch and pre filter available. Maybe the diaphragm has a tear in it...and can't hold the switch open to stop the motor from running.

It appears some may have an adjustment as well.

Aftermarket switch assembly....check your model for specific part number.

You might look for a pressure adjustment screw
