I own a 2022 2970 Grand Design Imagine. My floor underneath the vinyl is buckling & separating. It is quite noticeable visually and by walking on it. It starts by the door and runs past just where the fireplace is. Has anyone else experienced this?

From a quick search, you are not alone as others report similar problems with the Grand Design RVs.

I would check for water leaks to see if that was the cause, but also check underneath as well. There is usually some kind of material to protect the wood.

Almost every manufacture uses waferboard “what I call it”. The cheapest plywood you can buy. If that stuff gets wet it will delaminate. If the framing is set to far apart it will bow under pressure then begin to separate.

To repair would be to remove the flooring and replace with a good plywood then put new flooring in. My first RV floor was weak so I had to replace the wood.
