Soft spot in section of flooring

I don't know what i am doing wrong, seldom use site but review alot. We found an soft spot in RV flooring near furnace in main living area. About 1' across in diameter. Been like that awhile. Not really investigate much. Options not sure. 2010 Keystone Outback 300bh model. I did put an punch thru lininoem flooring. Is sunk in 1/2" until I felt plywood, i think. No water could leak in this area. Help...

Typically, in these situations, you would cut out the rot and replace. You should also get to the root cause of the problem and address that. You say no water could leak in this area, however, water seeks it's own level and could be coming from anywhere. I've never known soft spots in wood not to be caused by some sort of moisture intrusion.

Thanks, only thing close is smallest slide out and I will look closer at rubber seal around it when out. Floor seams solid around this 1 ' diameter section. I thinking about removing the under belly corrugated covering in that area to look up inside of joist. I know glue does separate over time.

Absolutely see if you can access it from underneath first before you go ripping up the inside floor. They sell a product that you can apply over soft wood and it hardens as it dries giving it some rigidity back; check marine products for this.

I also have outdoor drop down sink and 2 burner range by RV Door. I check the quick disconnect faucet, loosen and check connections there. That interior would be close to soft spot by a foot or so. Outdoor kitchen is enclosed or boxed in.

I had a soft spot about a year ago. They rolled back the flooring and found mold. Dealer cut out damaged wood and replaced. Scraped mold and treated with disinfectant. Cost was about $8,000.00 of which insurance paid $7,000.00. Here are some of the pictures. We were out of the RV about 4 weeks. We are full timers so we “couch surfed” while down.
