Have a 2007 Mandalay Presidio. Had issues with the house part of the coach. Dropped it off hour and a half away at the shop to have issues worked on five months ago. Went down to pick it up the issues weren't fixed and it had a j1939 data link no data fault on the dash. They are telling me now the issues are repaired with the exception of the data link they do not work on chassis. The only other place nearby that works on chassis says they do not work on anything older than 2015. My question is why would I be responsible for something that occurred while they have taken 5 months to work on my coach. Looking for advice. Thanks in advance

You shouldnt have to take responsibility for it but getting the shop to do so is another story. Fortunately the fix may be fairly simple. They probably created a loose connection in the electrical bay that shouldn't be too hard to trace. They also might have cut a wire which could be hard to find.

What issues were they repairing?
