My shurflo pump cycles for about a 1/3 of a second. Sounds almost like a heartbeat. About every min or so. I saw a drop of water on the outside of the filter screen. Is it possible this is causing a drop in pressure causing this tiny burp from the pump? IMG_3927.jpeg

That is on the intake so not a pressure problem. Check for dampness undersinks and at toilet connection. It may be the pump Valves in the pump, but best to make sure you don't have a leak.

I have seen the strainer located downstream from the pump. If this is true in your case that drip could be your problem. Although as Kevin said it is normally mounted before your pump. Good luck with it.

Really? Downstream? The whole purpose of the strainer is to protect the pump valves.

If that is your case I would suggest you reinstall the strainer to the suctionside so the valves in the pump last.

Like I said, I've seen that. I didn't say that was the way it was supposed to be installed. I was simply suggesting that there was a possibility it was improperly installed, and that leak could be the problem! Really! Downstream!

I didn't say you felt it ok, I just try to help avoid confusion. 🙂
