I have a 2018 Keystone Hideout 272LHS bunk house, single owner no previous issues. in April 2018 we were connected to the generator and started to notice we were loosing power in the trailer (generator was working perfect) the issues started with ac not working, lights dimming, water pump bogging down the generator when turned on, fridge going into check mode, to nothing working at all. We called a friend that has experience working on RVs and he told us to try connecting a battery charger to the battery and if everything worked right away then we needed to replace the convertor.
Did what he said and worked like nothing ever happened. Later that week we replaced the convertor and set out onto the next trip first weekend of May. Again hooked up to the generator and all the same issues happened and except this time the outlets in the bunk house and outlets in the main bedroom were not working but the 2 in the kitchen area microwave and bathroom (gfic) worked. Connected to the charger and all working again except the fridge and outlets we were already having issues with. We then though maybe we needed a new battery. So we bought a new battery and replaced the GFIC just in case.
Off to the next adventure the following weekend hooked up to land power. now with new convertor and new battery. We noticed the fridge still going to check mode and lights dimming and noticed the battery was being drained... we connected it back to the battery charger and realized the convertor was no longer working.... I ordered a new convertor.
Fast forward to this last weekend... 2nd new convertor installed... everything working normal except the same outlets and the fridge still going to check.... we removed the exterior panel for the fridge and plugged it into land power and never tripped...
We are thinking there is a power supply issue to the fridge plug along with the outlets... does anyone have any experience with this or anything that we can try/check to solve this? **also to note, no tripped breakers/ blow fuses that we could find inside the camper.
