Our King Aire developed a problem over the weekend with the front night shades. They go up just fine but when you use the main touch switch in the living room to lower them, the front windshield and the drivers window go down half way then they start jerking and hang up.
If you use the dash switch they will go down smoothly.
There is nothing in the way to impede them, but if you give it a slight tug it will move past the hang up point and finish going down smoothly
Any ideas?

Is your ignition switch in the ON position, perhaps? Easy to forget and leave the keys in the ignition. That can affect how the shades function.

Otherwise, have you tried reprogramming the ignition-on and ignition-off stops! The "computer" that controls those settings may have hiccuped.

The ignition is off. how do you reset on/off stops

If you have MCD brand roller shades, this should help.

Not sure what the 2017 KADP uses, so if it is something different, do a web search for "setting shade limits" + (your particular brand shade).

Before reprogramming, I suggest that you check out the main switch for proper function. It could just be intermittent.

Good luck.
