Newmar parts has implemented a $3 charge per order on all online/call-in orders.

I saw that and have zero issue with that. Blame the source of this issue not the victim

Since Newmar always paid the shipping I just wonder if it will ever go away

Newmar is scraping the barrel. Signs of sheer desperation IMHO. Newmar parts is already gouging massively for online vs in person orders as was discovered in this thread when I wanted to buy a spare slide controller. The controller was hundreds different between in person and online ordering. I don't know if it's still the case. After this was discovered sadly Joe G got let go, not sure if it was related.

a $3 fuel surcharge when fuel has literally gone up 80% is desperation? :ROFLMAO: Who do you think should absorb this fuel cost that the trucking companies are charging? The truck drivers?

It's already built in per the thread linked in my prior post.

I stand by my post. Newmar is not in the parts business. If you need a part they will gladly give you the part number and you can let your fingers do the walking (remember that one) through the internet.
Its funny that folks complain about newmar parts prices but when I factory picked up my coach, I bought a front mat for $325 at the store there.
If they can sell it there for $325, that means the dealers are paying much less, yet the dealers sell for the same or close to the online $600+ price tag, but no one is claiming that the dealers are gouging.
Can Newmar parts prices be lower, of course, but thats not the source of this fuel price surcharge, again, blame the source

Some of us have simply lost confidence, it doesn't matter. To each their own.

Peon suggestion to Newmar: Put the correct prices on for your parts, don't offer free delivery, do like any other e-commerce system and let us choose the delivery method at checkout with the prices shown, adjusted for the dimensional shipping, etc. They are real time quotes from the shippers and automatically adjust for the fuel prices with the company's rates, etc. etc. Then we do away with this nonsense. Put the part numbers from the manufacturer on the website and we can shop and buy from where we choose. The parts store website has always been trash extremely limited in what is shown that requires us to call parts or it was great in the past to email Joe G and get a quick reply with part numbers and prices, order it etc because we can't find it ourselves. Solve the core problem!

I called Newmar parts yesterday morning looking for a replacement microwave. Requested a part number and price. No response from them so far, maybe later today??
