I filled up yesterday for 2.31 / gal for 87 octane down here in the swamp..smilin the whole timeYea, I can only think the clearing the memory had a lot to do with it. It came at a good time. Around my daughter’s house in Clermont Fl gas is $3.20 per gallon
Lol..I had twin 140hp motors on my big boat..got 1.5 mpg at 47mph....switched to a single 225 hp and went up tp 3.5 mpg at 51mph...I was thrilled ..takes 105 gals to fill up.Needless to say 8 mpg on my RV was a welcome surpriseAnother CALIFORNIAN here...we recently took a few weeks to hit Northern Arizona and enjoyed the $3 (something) gas prices. That $1.50+ makes a difference when pumping 75 gallonsOh well, I just recall my boating days where I was pleased to get one mile per gallon. (it was usually less than that!) Blessings
I hope it stays that way for a while. I'll be in your neck of the woods in January. If I remember correctly. the cheapest gas I ever bought was in Galliano La in 2020 $2.01.9! I could go for that again.I feel like I went back in time or something..Toda that gas station lowered their price to 2.19/gal...!!!! Filled up all my cars .Sure beats the 4 bucks/gal we were paying couple years ago.
Yes, somewhere between 5 and 6 thousand miles planned this year. Will complain about the prices of diesel but not going to stop traveling just because it will cost more.I burn diesel, it is what it is, never even pay attention to it, 500k rig, fuel is least of my worries
