Full Moon, Maybe?

I was driving my Jeep up the road that goes by Standing Indian Campground yesterday. It's a dirt road, wide enough for 2 cars/Jeeps to pass each other without problem. But there are tight turns and going off the road sends you down (in some areas) 100' +- to the river.

I had turned around and was driving back out when I saw a very new Entegra Anthem coming down the road. I pulled over very close to the side and then flagged him down. When he stopped, I told him that I betted he was lost? He said No, I know exactly where I'm at and where I'm going. There were two fellows, probably late 20's or early 30's. I told him OK, and wished them good luck.

Not long afterward, my deputy buddy messaged me and said "look at this!"

That's why I never get far from the interstate on a trip and check out every where I go on google earth.

I missed the turn to the on ramp leaving the campground in Chattanooga coming home from Florida. Next street went to a Bass Pro Shops. I think Oh that place is huge so I turned down that road.
Parking lot was huge but entrance was split and tiny with huge curbs. If I'd have turned in behind the store at the next entrance I'd have been in the lot where semis unload and everything would have been great. I was stuck either backing a 42 ft fifth wheel up for 1/4 mile or taking the small goat path entrance, so I took the goat path. Only scrubbed one tire on the fifth wheel.

Making the problem even worse was the fact that I had a new axle put on in Ft. Myers on the way home (had never hit anything but it was bent) so that made me even more nervous.

Garmin typically takes you where you tell it to. There is a RVer that lingers around here, I heard the driver put in the wrong address and went down some pretty scary roads like the above. I mean, I would never do that! But camping at the postal address typically is not a good solution, always go to the campground address...we told that person.
