I have a 2016 Ventana LE 4037.
My full wall slide squeals and creaks really bad whenever I put it out or retract it.
I had Newmar tech's check this out at International and they said the bearings on the 4 slide tubes need to be replaced. Said it was a common problem.
I have an appointment for this work to be done this August in Nappanee but I'm interested to know if anyone else ever had this work done?
Does the full wall slide need to be completely removed or can the bearings be replaced without total slide removal?
When I think of everything that would need to be removed/disconnected for the slide to be taken out completely I get very concerned.
I am seeking any experiences in this regard before trying to contact someone at Newmar that will take the time to walk me through the procedure..
The $ quote from Newmar seemed reasonable and the time to complete the work was estimated to be 3 days.
