We rv about 5 months out of the year. We always want a home to go back to.
On another note there is such a thing as too much togetherness. We've found an awning is worth its weight in gold as it gives us somewhere to get away. (married 51 years)
We are the opposite. We are in our 52nd year of marriage and almost 9 years ago we confirmed that we were made for each other. We sold our house but the money generated went into a fund that is meant to repurchase one when our roaming days are done. So far, as long as health remains good, we have no intention of giving up our travels.

5 years. Still full time and still love my wife.

Well here is my 2 cents. I am a most timer. 9 months in the coach. Pilgrimage to Newmar every year. Of the three months I am not in it, one month is rest and at least 6 weeks getting it ready to go out again. Yes it is getting tiring doing the maintenance and going over it with a fine tooth comb. I don’t know what I would do without a house. This May I almost could not get to Newmar on time. I discovered a axle hub seal leak the week before I was to leave. Fortunately, I found a mobile truck mechanic to fix it and get me going. Good thing I have a good friend who is a truck driver and has mechanic experience who warned me no to try and drive to Newmar with the leak. Could have cost me the whole rear end instead of two $20 dollar seals. Now working on windshield seal, and trying to get the top slide seal fixed, etc., etc. The list begins on the way home from Newmar or shortly after I return. Of course 1000 or so miles on our silky smooth roads doesn’t help.

On the other hand. Dealing with house issues while gone can be stressful also. The guy who was taking care of the lawm (very economically) retired while I was away, this summer. It took 5 weeks of pestering everyone and their brother to find someone who would come here and not charge an arm and two legs. Which is better. I just don’t know.

This is an interesting thread, as I often wander how full timers do it, especially alone.

Taking three deeeep breaths. Relaaaax.😎🥸😵‍💫
