Hello! I have a 2017 thor majestic. My problem is that the heater won't stay on. The level on the panel says it's measuring at 11 volts. When I put a volt meter on the house battery it reads 12.94. what the heater does is it stays on for about 20 to 30 seconds and then clicks off. The lights go out too. Then in about 30 more seconds or so the lights come back on and the heater will try again in a few minutes . The furnace works fine when connected to shore power. Does anybody have any idea what my problem is?

One possibility is the flame sensor. If its bad, the furnace will come on, not sense the flame, and turn it self off as a safety meaure.

What lights go out? On the furnace or room lights in the coach?

Thank you. I think you are right, I just don't want to go buy one and have that not be the issue 😬

Battery is almost 5 years old.It won’t last much longer anyhow.
