I have a 2022 Transcend Xplor 200MK with a 13500 BTU AC that became very loud 2 days ago and was vibrating significantly. It still cooled perfectly with no other issues. I ran it as little as possible yesterday and today(still loud and vibrating) but this afternoon it stopped cooling and tripped the breaker at the inside panel. I reset the breaker and ran it on fan with no issue but when I switched back to cool, the compressor would kick on and the air temp coming from the vent would not change and after 30-45secs it would throw the breaker again. Anyone recognize these symptoms and are we looking at something easily fixable?

I use this travel trailer 2 weeks a month to travel for work so putting it in the shop forever is out. There are mobile techs in this area but they are difficult to get to come quickly and I go home in 2 days. Maybe when I come back I can get one lined up. If it’s something I could fix myself that would be great but I tend to make problems worse when I try to fix them myself.

Sure sounds as if the compressor went out, that’s why you can run on fan with no issue. Once the compressor turn on for cooling you have your issues. Maybe a mobile tech can replace compressor but in most cases they will want to change the complete unit

This may not be the worst news in the world. I had been less than pleased with the performance of this AC in the summer months in some hotter locations and had considered upgrading to a bigger unit anyway. May start looking into some of the 18 K units.
