Fuses on tongue frame.

So I went to install an electric tongue jack and started looking at the wiring, idecided I was going to change out these fuses due to the corrosion but I'm wondering why the large AWG is larger than the boots and if somebody see something wrong with this picture befre moving forward?! The boots were all wore out cracked and it appeared like the wiring was too large for the boots
