Although I advise people to not buy new, we did. This 2025 Grand Design 392M is absolutely gorgeous.
Our maiden voyage was from Wausau, FL (Central Panhandle) to Lenoir City Tennessee for a three-day BlackBerry Smoke concert at The Shed in Maryville.
The camper towed very well. It is heavy and I can feel the weight in the tow vehicle. However the Chevrolet dually with a Duramax diesel did not have any problems towing. Fuel economy averaged 9.0 mpg for the trip. I did have to remind myself a couple of times that turns need to be wide and I did get a couple of curbs in both directions. (No tow vehicle advice needed, we were not overweight)
Living in the rig was wonderful. Lots of room, yet places for privacy, the dogs were happy, and the kitchen fit my needs. The only issue is that the kitchen sink was mistakenly plumbed to black tank #2 instead of the grey tank. I’m going to be on the phone to the dealer soon…
