We are buying a new 5th wheel. Question for you more experienced rv’s! We are considering ordering a generator. We will be staying in it on our property while our house is being built. We will have temp power but just debating the cost difference.
Any input would be welcomed!
Thanks

Hi @Bpayne04. I guess it depends on a lot on what you're going to use it for long term. But for me, I wouldn't consider a generator as an option. It's more of a necessity in my book. That being said, I guess you could always add one yourself, but in the long run, I think one that is installed at build time would be the way to go.

I agree you'll need it when you travel but it's hard to turn down using the temp power pole.
