We switched to a resi 110 volt fridge after our Dometic RV fridge died. I wired a protected circuit directly through the inverter so it runs going down the road. The Diesel charges house and chassis batteries going down the road so no issue there. No concern about propane fires. A big plus to this was that where my 12 cubic foot Dometic RV fridge was located my 24 cubic foot Kenmore Elite fridge fits. Fridge draws 1 am or less so it has been great boondocking as well.

I just recently removed a propane fridge and replaced it with a 12V fridge in my daughters RV. The 12V fridge is optimial for small campers with a single LiON battery, as it will run for 3 days on 208Ah and gets very cold.

The down side is the size she required didn't allow for a freezer, so no ice cream.
