Hello all, Retiring next year and looking for my next and last Class A. I used to own a 2006 Winnebago Journey 32T. In my opinion, best little motorhome ever with the Cummins/Freightliner/Allison combo, all in a small package. Trying to find a nice one is hard. My research has told me this, and feel free to chime in anyone and everyone.
Dont get a Triton V-10. Stick with Diesel. (Yep, been there, didnt like the noise or the heat from the doghouse)
Dont get any diesel post 2009 and the new Def era...stick with 2002-2007
Dont get a Cat C7, get a Cat 3126, if the coach has a Cat. This came straight from the Cat dealer two blocks from my work.
Dont get anything with 19.5in. wheels. Probably solved with going to diesel. Most all are on 22.5
This doesnt leave me with many options other than waiting for someone moving on from their "05-"06 Journey. unless someone knows another reputable Manufacturer and make that has Cummins/Cat3126/Allison/. Freightliner that fits the bill.
I should say that we are not going above a 34ft.
