Hello everyone! I am looking to buy this 1999 Travel Supreme 40 footer and have it moved by the end of this year from TX to CA.
1999 Travel Supreme
Fifth Wheel Series M-40 RLSO
I know the family that has had it and they have maintained it well as full timers so knowing its history and getting a good price, I couldn't pass it up.
It's been a while since I've owned an RV, so to get it road ready I wanted to be thorough and ask for a checklist/suggestions of things I should or should not do to make the trek from East TX to Northern CA.
1. Any suggestions on reputable companies/ insured individuals to pull it?
2. Are 7 ( spare) new 10 ply tires ok for this trek as it will be stationary as a permanent home?
3. I will have the bearings packed, anything else the tire shop should be looking for?
4. The roof has been sealed this year.
5. Anything in the 5th wheel set up that needs to be lubricated or checked ? It has been stationary for over 10 yrs, but occupied.
6. Anything to do inside, there will be no loose items and I know to turn off the fridge, hot water heater, empty tanks etc?
THANK YOU so very much!
